Q: How do I book an inflatable?
A: There are two ways to book: Call 01 665 1665 or book online.
Q: How do I pay for the bouncing castle?
A: You have two options to pay: (1) by cash on the day of installation or (2) by cheque, 10 working days in advance of the installation date. The cheque must have cleared and be for the full amount of the rental. If the cheque has not cleared the bouncing unit will not be delivered.
Q: What are your opening hours?
A: We are open Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm.
Q: What will I need to do before the inflatable arrives?
A: Please ensure the area is clear, level, free of any debris, and safe prior to the arrival of the inflatable. All inflatables require grass (not tarmac or other hard surfaces ) for safe set up and need a connection to electricity within 15ft. The inflatable will be installed by Bouncy Bros and our installers will show you how to operate it safely on the day.
Q: How long does it take to install and dismantle the inflatable?
A: It takes approx 20 minutes to install and dismantle.
Q: Who can use the inflatables?
A: Children who can at least toddle and all children must be supervised by parents or guardians. For the adult inflatables, mostly, anyone in good physical shape. If you are not in good shape, have a bad back, don't feel great, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, taking medication, you should not use or supervise this equipment. Do not use or supervise this equipment if you are pregnant, or suspect yourself to be pregnant.
Q: How can I ensure the safety of children on the inflatable?
A: Adult supervision is required at all times to ensure the safety of all children. Please read our terms and conditions with regard to more detailed safety measures to ensure there are no accidents on the day.
Q: What age groups can use the inflatables?
A: Once children can move around under their own steam and are supervised, they can go onto bouncing castles. However, it is very important that
- You do not overcrowd the bouncing castle
- That the same size children pay on the bounce e.g. Do not mix 3 year olds with 5 year olds.
- Do not allow horseplay and rough and tumble on the bounce, it causes accidents.
Q: What should we wear to use the equipment?
A: Wear casual clothes or tracksuits, ones that you are comfortable in and can move around in. Take your shoes off, wear clean socks, try not to wear your best clothes in case they get damaged, take any jewellery off, watches, necklaces, bracelets, scarves should all come off. Take your glasses off.
Q: Can we hire for more than one day?
A: Yes if the inflatable is available and not booked elsewhere the following day. If you would like to hire for the second day, it is advisable to book in advance to ensure availability. Inflatables must be deflated and the blower taken indoors over night.
Q: Are the inflatables in good condition?
A: Yes, all our inflatables and bouncing castles are new and clean. Each unit is cleaned and disinfected after each event to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Q: Where do you deliver to?
A: We deliver to all areas in Dublin and the greater Dublin area.
Q: How long do we have the inflatable for on the day?
A: All inflatables and bouncing castles are delivered on the morning of your party and collected in the evening after 6.00 p.m.
Q: What should we do if it rains?
A: Unplug the unit and let it deflate. Take the blower and any extension cables etc, out of the rain. When the shower stops, plug the blower back in and let the unit inflate fully and leave it for 5 full minutes. Then an adult needs to get onto the inflatable base of the unit and dry the floor of the inflatable completely. Make sure that the children going back onto the inflatable have dry feet. Wet bounces are dangerous and can cause accidents, as people can slip and hurt themselves. NEVER USE A WET BOUNCE UNIT.
Q: Are Bouncy Bros insured?
A: Bouncy Bros insurance only covers injuries caused by an equipment malfunction. It does not cover you for accidents on the unit, improper use or boisterous behaviour. Adult supervision is required at all times. We will not be held personally responsible for any injuries. Our Terms and Conditions must be signed prior to hire. Additional personal liability cover can be arranged through your home insurance.
Q: What will happen if somebody damages the inflatable during hire?
A: Inflatables are inspected prior to delivery. Should damage or theft occur during use the hirer will be liable for any repair or replacement costs. Should any damage occur which could result in an accident the inflatable should be switched off immediately.
Q: What can we do on a bouncing castle?
A: Have fun on the bouncing castle. You can bounce, but do not try to do somersaults or jump into the castle or out of the castle. Do not tackle people, play ball, jump on people, jump into people etc.
